Every story has a beginning. Ours started with food and a community that believed our neighbors deserved support, dignity, and connection.
Before the Loft became the Community Resource Center it is today, there were different buildings, smaller spaces, and people who showed up because they believed in this mission.
As we look back at where we’ve been, we’re reminded that the Loft has always been about more than what happens inside our walls. It’s about the relationships we build, the people who step up, and what becomes possible when a community works together.
Over the next few weeks, we’re sharing the story of how we grew from a place to access food into something MORE.
