Spring Garden Fundraiser

The Loft will host its 3rd annual Grow with Us Garden Luncheon Fundraiser on Saturday, May 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Garden Party will be held at our new home at 100 E. Charlotte Street, Millersville. We are looking for sponsors for this event. Sponsorships range from $250 to $2,500. We are also accepting donations for our raffle table and on-line auction. Raffle suggestions include hanging flower baskets, garden decor, restaurant gift cards, spa gift cards, candles and bird feeders. Auction items ideas include weekend get-aways, planter boxes, framed artwork, excursion passes, themed gift baskets (coffee, wine, gourmet), quilts, and household decor. Engage, Educate, Empower

We are hosting a series of Drop-In Trainings and events the first week of March at our new home on Charlotte Street. This “conference style” week is geared towards our current team of dependable and consistent Loft volunteer team members. Government Shutdown Impacts Food Assistance

The ongoing government shutdown is creating serious challenges for families who rely on SNAP benefits. It also hinders programs like the State Food Purchase Program (SFPP) and the Pennsylvania Agricultural Surplus System (PASS) that help us keep food flowing into our community. If these programs are delayed or paused, more families will turn to us for help – just as our usual food deliveries are being curtailed.

We’re preparing to meet the need, but we can’t do it without you. Your gift will help us provide healthy food, fresh produce and needed hope to local families who might otherwise go without.
