On Friday the 23rd, civic groups, church leaders, and community partners gathered to examine how we assist families facing unexpected hardships such as financial, health, or housing crises. We explored how existing compassion funds provide critical financial relief and build community connections amidst difficult conversations. Further collaboration and partnerships will allow us to scale the impact of these funds and continue creating truly meaningful, lasting support for our neighbors.
Beyond the conversations, attendees were invited to tour the Loft and see our food pantry in action. Guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast (and necessary coffee) provided by Commonwealth Kitchen & Catering!
